Cattail Stables offers breathtaking guided trail rides through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Florence, MT. Whether you're a beginner looking for a relaxing ride or an experienced rider seeking adventure, our well-trained horses and knowledgeable guides ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Each trail ride provides a unique journey through Montana’ diverse terrain, from wooded paths to open fields with stunning views.
Cattatil Stable Riding Academy, a comprehensive horse riding school that will include both mounted and unmounted sessions
Indoor arena:
- The footing is top of the line fabric specifically provided to ensure that horses have the very best support
- This arena includes mirrors on both ends, solid walls, adequate lighting, including natural light.
- This lovely indoor arena has a warm and inviting feel for both horses and riders
- 65’ by 80’
Outdoor arena:
- The footing is comprised of sand/rubber combination specifically designed for dressage and jumbping
- Open and lovely setting along pond and cattails with great views of the valley and mountains
- 70’ by 145’
Barn:
- Large aisle with two sets of cross ties as well as no-pull tie ring
- Overhead door at each end as well as large walk through door
- Heated tack room, with individual lockers, saddle and bridle racks, refrigerator and coffee pot
- Stalls are solid wood walls, doors with or without open top for horses to put head out, rubber mats, bucket holders, hay racks, and bedded with wood shavings. Size 12’ by 12’
- Feed room with room for storage of grain, supplements and room to store winter blankets/sheets
- Three large shared pastures with three sided shelters and heated automatic waterers.
- Fences are steel continuous fence or welded wire
- All holding pens have access to shelter, auto waters and are steel and 6ft panels. Easy access gates for bringing horses in and out.
- Large parking area
